This Privacy Policy explains how Sortis IQ LLC collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information collected through its website, landing pages, forms, advertisements, and related services.
Sortis IQ LLC is an independent lead generation and marketing company. We collect consumer inquiries relating to health insurance and related insurance products and transfer, share, and sell those inquiries to licensed insurance agencies, brokers, carriers, call centers, and related marketing partners.
Sortis IQ LLC is not a government entity, is not affiliated with or endorsed by any federal or state government agency, and is not HealthCare.gov or the federally facilitated Marketplace. Sortis IQ LLC is not a licensed insurance navigator, certified application counselor, or ACA assister. We do not provide plan enrollment services, recommend specific insurance plans, or endorse any particular carrier or product.
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected:
This Privacy Policy does not apply to personal information collected directly by third-party Insurance Partners or marketing partners after your information has been transferred to them.
Geographic Scope. The Services are directed to United States residents. Sortis IQ LLC does not knowingly solicit, accept, or route consumer lead inquiries from California residents through the Services. If a California submission is identified through a channel not intended for California consumers, the inquiry may be declined or handled in accordance with applicable law.
Depending on how you interact with the Services, we may collect the following categories of personal information:
Note: Insurance inquiry information, including age and coverage needs, may in some contexts constitute health-related information. It is collected and processed for lead generation and referral purposes only.
This means that your information may be provided to one or more licensed Insurance Partners, and those parties may contact you within the scope of the consent and disclosures presented at the time of submission.
Leads may be transferred to Insurance Partners at various times after initial collection, including on a delayed or aged basis, subject to any revocation, suppression request, do-not-call restriction, or other limitation imposed by applicable law.
In connection with lead distribution operations, limited lead data may be transmitted in real time to multiple potential Insurance Partners simultaneously so they can evaluate and bid on an inquiry before one or more partners receive the full lead record.
If you complete another form or affirmative opt-in after being presented with an updated disclosure or partner list, that later submission will be treated as a separate, independent consent event with its own record.
We retain records relating to each consent event, including the disclosure text shown, timestamp, IP address, user agent, form URL, campaign identifier, button text, checkbox state, and the partner list displayed or hyperlinked at the time of submission. Consent records are retained for a minimum of five years and longer where commercially reasonable, operationally necessary, or required by law.
Calls with consumers may be recorded for quality assurance, compliance, training, and evidentiary purposes. Where required by applicable state law, consent is obtained before recording. By proceeding with a call after being informed that the call may be recorded, you consent to such recording to the extent required by law.
Sortis IQ LLC may qualify as a data broker under applicable state law based on activities involving selling or licensing personal information to third parties who did not directly collect that information.
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including lead processing and distribution, documenting consent and opt-out activity, suppression and do-not-call compliance, legal and reporting needs, and dispute resolution and enforcement.
Consent and submission records are retained for a minimum of five years and longer where commercially reasonable, operationally necessary, or required by law.
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. No system is perfectly secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
If a security breach involving personal information triggers notification obligations under applicable law, notice will be provided to affected individuals and regulatory authorities as required by law. Florida’s Information Protection Act may require notification within 30 days of determining a breach affecting Florida residents, subject to applicable thresholds and exceptions.
You may revoke consent and opt out of marketing calls or texts at any time by any reasonable means, including replying STOP to a text, contacting us using the methods in the Contact Us section, or using any other method that reasonably communicates revocation.
You may use the unsubscribe link in marketing emails where available.
You may adjust browser or device settings to limit certain cookies or tracking technologies.
You may ask to be placed on our internal do-not-call and suppression lists. We also honor the National Do Not Call Registry and applicable state DNC lists.
Some states provide residents with rights regarding their personal information. Sortis IQ LLC does not knowingly solicit, accept, or route California consumer lead inquiries through the Services. The following provisions apply to residents of other states to the extent applicable law grants such rights and applies to our processing activities.
To the extent the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act applies, Texas residents may have rights to confirm whether personal data is processed, access data, correct inaccuracies, delete personal data, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, or certain profiling.
To the extent Florida’s Digital Bill of Rights applies, Florida residents may have applicable rights subject to statutory exemptions and limitations. Some information submitted through the Services may in some contexts be characterized as sensitive personal data under applicable law.
Nevada residents may have the right to opt out of the sale of covered personal information to third parties for their own commercial purposes. To exercise that right, contact us with the subject line “Nevada Privacy Opt-Out.”
Residents of other states may also have privacy rights under applicable law, and we will review and respond to verifiable consumer privacy requests as required.
The Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through the Services. If such information is identified, reasonable steps will be taken to delete it promptly.
The Services may contain links to third-party websites, forms, or services. We are not responsible for the privacy, security, or information practices of third parties, including Insurance Partners to whom a lead is transferred. Review their privacy policies before providing personal information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will post the revised version with an updated Last Updated date. Changes apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law.
Updates to this Privacy Policy do not by themselves create or expand consent to receive telemarketing calls or text messages. Any such consent is governed solely by the disclosure and affirmative action presented at the time of the relevant submission.
